How much does your company charge to build a website?
There isn’t a single answer to this question. A website build is quoted based on the requirements of an individual business. Every website is specific & requires many different components. We design & develop unique websites specifically for your individual business. We’ll ask many questions, evaluate your requirements, and provide you with a price quote based on that particular assessment. Our smallest package starts at $999+GST.
How long will it take to Build my website?
Our usual timeline is 2-4 weeks to build a website but this depends on the size of the project as individual business requirements are set by each client. Timeframes also depend on how much input you give during the early stages, your feedback, how quick the content is provided to us, all this affects the pace of completion. The functionality & your revisions will also determine the timeline.
Do I have to be in Brisbane to work with you?
No you don’t! We work with clients from all around the world & can communicate by email, telephone calls & video meetings.
Am I able to update the website myself when it’s completed?
Definitely yes! We absolutely love it when our clients take the initiative and begin to control some aspects of their website & learn to update some of the content on their own websites. You will have complete access to the backend of your brand new WordPress website after migration to make easy text updates, photo changes, adding new products & pricing can easily be updated on your own. However, we highly recommend a professional web designer or developer to complete some of the more complex changes & maintenance such as updating plugins, changing design or structure & complex functionality requirements. We can provide tutorial sessions on completion of your website if you are keen on learning how to steer through the backend in order to make simple updates independently.
Do you maintain our site for us?
We can assist in maintaining your website for you, or you can do it yourself with some of the more minor changes. The choice is all up to you. We give on-going support to a lot of our clients but it’s not mandatory & you’ll not be charged a monthly fee. You can get in touch with us as you require changes & updates to your website & we’ll provide an hourly quote based on your requirements.
Do you provide web hosting & domain name registration?
No, we don’t, however, with our assistance during the entire process, you’ll be able to obtain your own website hosting & domain name registration with ease. This will ensure that you will have complete access to your website upon migration and only you will have the keys to it entirely. We will only recommend industry-leading hosting packages to you i.e. SiteGround, & we will complete the migration to your own hosting included in our web design package pricing.
Will my new website be mobile friendly?
Absolutely yes! In this day and age having a mobile friendly website is more important than ever before! We work very hard to make sure your website is responsive on all modern devices & web browsers.
How much input will I have in the web design process?
A lot! Your input & feedback are crucial to the website design & development process. We’ll start with asking you many questions about your requirements, your likes & your wants & we’ll work closely with you in order to develop just the right look and functionality you need from a website. Additionally, we request you to provide some sample websites before we initiate your project. Remember this is your website & we need your help & direction as to your requirements and your final vision. We look forward to hearing about your ideas.
Who writes the text & the content for our website?
We do require that you provide all the text & content for your new website. You are the expert on your own business, so it makes sense and is always best if it comes directly from you. However, if you need assistance in this area, we have a talented copywriter on our team who can either help clean up or write original content for your website at an additional cost.
Do you only build WordPress websites or do you also us other platforms?
Yes, well sort of! WordPress is the leading content management system that powers around 40% of the world’s websites. Its massive market share is due to its ease of use & flexibility. From minimalistic & informational, websites that are to the point to more custom websites with specific functionality, we’ve worked on many different websites in countless industries all on WordPress. Having said that, we have not forgotten our roots and can still offer custom HTML websites based on your requirements.
What will happen if I need help on my website down the road?
We’re only a phone call or an email away! We’re here to help as much or as little as you require, & we’ll be here even after the launch of your website. We take pride in building long term business relationships with our clients & we always look forward to the opportunity in working with you on your future projects or growing your website even further. Is Search Engine Optimisation included in my website build price?
No, the build of your site does not include monthly Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). All the things we add to your website including photos, text & video can be seen by Google but that won’t mean you’ll rank number one. We do, however, provide top-notch monthly SEO services at a cost with our team of SEO specialists who are ready to assist with all your SEO needs!
Do you work with new & small business?
Yes we do! We work with all types of businesses including startups, new businesses, small businesses, to large corporations. We are excited to work with & guide all new businesses who are passionate about taking the leap into business, growing their online presence and bringing their vision to life.
What does photo sourcing mean?
If need be, we will help you find free stock images from websites such as Pixels & Unsplash. Your help & direction will be needed to source the perfect photos, graphics, images & vectors for your website & your brand as a whole.
